Battle of the Bands at San Jose Public Library

Now it’s down to five!  Come rock the house on March 19, 2011 from 3 pm – 5 pm when the five finalists perform live at the Almaden Library and Community Center.  Besides bragging rights, the winners will take home a $250 grand prize.   The five finalists are: Conversions, The Gist, She Waves The Flag, Some Random People (SRP), The Twinge

It’s down to the final ten bands and the voting is on for this year’s Battle of the Bands at San Jose Public Library.  This annual competition is open to teens ages 12 – 18.  Preliminary rounds are now finished and voting has begun for the final ten. Voting ends on March 5 with the top five bands moving on to the final round.

Those five bands will perform in a live concert at the Almaden Library & Community Center on March 19, 2011 with the winner receiving a grand prize of $250.
