Registration for the next session of The First Tee of San Jose is this Saturday, Sept 6th at 8:30 am. The First Tee is a great program teaching children how to play golf and using golf as a springboard to teaching them life skills and values.
The group in San Jose is not the only group in the area. Here is a link to look for programs in your area: Northern California Golf Association Youth on Course program.
Whether or not you are a golfer, you will appreciate the discounts and benefits offered through the NCGA Foundation’s Youth on Course (YOC). Particpants have the opportunity to play some of the area’s best courses for $5 or less while usingthe life skills and values training they learned in their Youth on Course certified program.
